The vegetable wholesaler Hansen was founded in 1952 and has always specialized on marketing quality vegetables from the Dithmarschen region in northern Germany. Besides our wide product range, our customers especially appreciate our high quality standards, our reliability as well as flexibility - in food retailing, wholesaling or the food processing industry. And since word about quality spreads quickly, we also export our vegetables to Great Britain, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
Quality is top priority when producing, processing and marketing our products. This is why our vegetables are produced by selected farmers - only. We support them when planning cultivation, controlling growth and quality, harvesting and processing - up to marketing the products. For our retail partners, that has many advantages - as, for instance, maintaining consistent high quality and sufficient delivery capacities.
As part of the Gemüsering Group, we support the central declaration of principles on respect for human rights as well as the central sustainability goals of Gemüsering Stuttgart and also pursue these as best we can at our own location. We are aware of our responsibility to respect human rights within our own company and along the supply chain. Respect for environmental and human rights in our global value and supply chains has therefore been an integral part of our corporate policy and part of our supplier declaration for many years. Our aim is to continue to promote the observance and application of environmental and human rights and to prevent their violation.
